The problem
Conventional snow guns don't run on air temperature.
They run on wet-bulb temperature — the combined effect of heat and humidity that decides whether water droplets freeze before they hit the ground. The industry threshold is about −2°C.

Wet-bulb can never exceed air temperature. In a hot, humid lowland it tracks the air temperature closely — so the gap to the snowmaking threshold stays open in every month and every hour.

The 20–32°C band is a general characterisation of lowland tropical climates (Köppen Af / Aw), given as a range precisely because it varies by site — it is not a single-station record. The approach
We make ice first. Then we crush it and blow it.
Because the ice already exists before it leaves the machine, ambient temperature never enters into it. No waiting for a cold snap that, in lowland tropical markets, never arrives. The output is crushed ice — dry, flowable and easy to spread or throw, so it behaves the way guests expect snow to behave without the sky having to cooperate.

Why this works
Our roots are in ice, not in assembly.
We did not start as an assembly shop. We manufacture our own flake ice evaporators — the core component of every ice-making system — using the same expertise that runs through our industrial ice machines today.
That is the whole argument. Snowmaking built on ice-making means the hardest part of the system is the part we have always made ourselves.

Most suppliers make a few machines for a few trades. We build one platform across the full span — from a 30 kg/day countertop unit to a 50 t/day evaporator — and configure it to the ice your process actually needs. That means one supplier to qualify, one spare-parts relationship, and one place to go when your requirement changes.
Nine ice types and fifteen industries, both as listed in our 2026 catalogue. Seawater flake ice is the same flake principle on a 316L stainless evaporator, for vessels and coastal plants. Ice-type names are not standardised across the industry — send us the ice you actually need and we will match the machine to it.
Why ice type matters
In hot climates, ice is a production input — not a convenience.
Ice types are not interchangeable. Because flake ice is thin and dry, a given mass of it covers far more surface than the same mass of tube or block ice, and therefore cools product faster and more evenly.
Thin, dry flake spreads out; tube and block sit in lumps. That is why the same tonnage cools differently.

The largest single market for flake ice is fisheries and seafood processing, at roughly 60% of global demand. The other heavy uses are concrete batch cooling in hot-weather construction, fresh-produce distribution, and edible-ice production.
For vessels and plants that make ice directly from seawater, the evaporator has to be 316L stainless — standard 304 will not survive the chloride load. If your site needs seawater ice, say so at the outset; it changes the machine.

Availability varies by model. Where your market has brand preferences, a service network, or spare-parts availability you need to respect, we specify accordingly.
Scope of supply: the machine itself. Ice storage, conveying and cold-room plant are not part of a standard machine order — where a project needs them, we say so up front and quote them separately. You will not find out at commissioning that something was left out.
Commercial terms: FOB as standard; CIF and door-to-door available on larger orders. Prices and full specifications are quoted per project — output depends on site conditions, water temperature and ambient.
